Rainy weather will not stop play. If the weather turns bad the game can simply continue inside. The object of the game is to take the bolo and toss it at a ladder constructed of PVC. A bolo can be constructed from rope and golf balls. Hooking the bolo on a ladder rung is worth points.

Another backyard game is Bocce Ball. Bocce ball is both easy and fun. It can also be played by people of virtually every age group. Bocce ball is a game that was created in ancient times. There have been many changes made through the years to the game. Bowling and bocce ball are very similar. Bocce ball cant be easily played in a very small area. A 76 foot by 10 foot area is needed for bocce ball. It can be played for fun in shorter areas as well. Players throw balls larger than the original ball on the course. The goal is to get as close to the small ball as possible.
